Daniel Batson

Sales & Catering Manager

Daniel is originally from the island of Barbados and brings his love of hospitality to sunny Florida.  He graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies where he studied Hotel Management. He has worked for many years at luxury 5-star resorts in Barbados, gaining experience in various operational roles such as Food & Beverage, Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. 

After relocating to Lakeland, he expanded his career into Hotel Sales & Catering Management and has joined the historic Terrace Hotel, where he interacts with guests daily, making their special events most memorable.

After visiting and interacting with people from across the Caribbean, North America & Europe, Daniel is customer service-driven and believes in total professionalism and ethics.

He enjoys cooking, international travel, and spending time with his family in his free time.
